The nine self-paced modules cover everything from print-awareness to phonological awareness to vocabulary. They can be taken online anytime and help teachers prepare for the CERI test.

Achieve the Core: Foundational Skills Mini-Course 

The Foundational Skills Mini-Course dives into the content of literacy foundational skills, with an emphasis on phonological awareness, phonics, and how these connect to early reading.  Instructional guidelines and concrete recommendations for teacher practice are also explored.

CORE: Consortium on Reaching Excellence in Education

CORE offers webinars on several topics related to structured literacy and struggling readers. Sample webinars include “Structured Literacy for English Language Learners” and “Strategies for Success: Helping All Students Become Strong Readers.”

International Dyslexia Association: Upper Midwest Branch 

This IDA branch offers free webinars on a variety of topics related to language, literacy, and special education. Sample webinar topics include spelling, reading comprehension, handwriting, and assistive technology.

Center for the Development of Learning: Three Academies

The Center for Development and Learning (LA) offers the highly-regarded Conference, Plain Talk about Literacy. They now produce "Science of Reading Learning Academies," which can be customized based on your needs.

Really Great Reading Webinars

RGR offers webinars on Assessing Students during Distance Learning, Erasing the Misery of Reading and Spelling Multisyllabic Words, Bringing the Science of Reading to Life in the Classroom, as well as implementation trainings for their programs: Countdown, Blast, HD Word and Boost/Blitz.

AIM Institute for Learning a Research: Pathways 

The AIM Institute (PA) is a highly regarded professional development provider for teachers of reading. Their Pathways program offers virtual and in-person training in a variety of areas, including "Literacy Leadership" and Writing.
